Josiah Esquivel

Josiah Esquivel is a composer, arranger, and guitarist. He holds a BA in Music, focusing on guitar performance and composition, from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. A two-time Engaged Scholar awardee, Josiah has composed works for guitar, voice, piano, and mixed ensembles. Past theatrical show collaborations include Bonnie and Clyde, In The Heights, Rock of Ages, and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. As Malinalli co-composer, he's also held a variety of additional roles throughout the workshop process, including transcriber, musical director, arranger, orchestrator, and musician. His EP of original music, C- He-Mc-Al, is available on SoundCloud, and he is currently developing his own original musical.
